Het is een bijzonder exemplaar, want origineel Nederlands en in super conditie, altijd in onderhoud geweest bij Lancia Amsterdam. De 2 vorige eigenaren hebben er goed kilometers mee gemaakt, maar zijn ook erg nauwkeurig op de auto geweest. Onderzijde auto is als nieuw. De derde eigenaar heeft als hobby de motor uit de auto gehaald om deze helemaal te servicen. Fotoreportage spreekt voor zich. Alles is uit elkaar geweest behalve draaiend gedeelte, dat was goed en compressie helemaal top. In onderstaande lijst alle onderdelen die vervangen zijn. ZLA83400000140332 Odometer Reading: 79,000 Kms MoT Expiry: 23/01/2021 *Full service history *Minimal mileage in recent years *Low ownership In the late-'80s super-saloon arms-race the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz 500E and the Vauxhall Lotus Carlton had a serious contender ready to topple their crown – the Lancia Thema 8.32. Taking the large Lancia and fitting it with a Ferrari engine was a canny move, giving the Italian model added underbonnet kudos, and its low-key looks appealed to those wanting a less conspicuous method of (rapid) transport. This catalytic converter example was sold new in Switzerland and in the hands of two owners stayed there until 2015. It crossed the border into France until being bought by a UK collector in 2019 and retains a full service history. Reassuringly the cambelt has been changed recently by an Italian marque specialist. For the most fastidious of collectors this 8.32 is a dream realized, having excellent bodywork, metallic grey paint (with fine yellow pinstripe), trim and wheels and the brown leather interior (seating, door panels, headlining and briarwood trim) being equally outstanding in condition. The engine starts and runs well and the driving experience is thoroughly enhanced by excellent-order running gear. It is a rare car with original 55000 kms, all the books and keys, that was delivered new in Italy. Driving is a real sensation and the sound is amazing, this is a great car to own and to drive! The interior is very clean with alcantara seats and an amazing dashboard, real Italian style. All the nice extra's are here: electric windows, sunroof, ABS, nice alloy wheels, powersteering, discbrakes all around and ofcourse this amazing V8 Ferrari engine. A few years and 7000 kms ago the engine has been rebuilt and many other parts have been overhauled with a total invoice of over 39.000 Euro's........... The paint is old and could use some attention, but this is a real collectors item and priced to go.

Lancia decided to develop a V-8–engined version of the front-wheel-drive Thema saloon, drawing on support from the likes of Ducati and Ferrari in the development of its own offering. Shoehorning a 32-valve V-8 engine (hence the ‘8.32’ moniker) from the Ferrari Mondial into the engine bay of the Thema, the 8.32 was wonderfully different from its competition. Delivering 215 bhp, the sprint to 100 km/h was dispatched in seven seconds—not far from M5 and Lotus Carlton territory. Electronically controlled damping ensured suspension characteristics were matched to the driving conditions, while the luxurious interior went some way towards justifying the steep price tag. The Thema 8.32 offered here was delivered in a dark-red-over-brown-Alcantara configuration in April 1991 to the Fiat Regional Directorate South in Munich, Germany. It was then sold to Fiat AG in August 1991 and then sold in 1993 to the Brunner family in Neumarkt. The Brunner family retained the Thema 8.32 until 2011, when it was sold to Mr Aeschlimann in Switzerland. The consignor acquired the car from him in 2018. Rarely used by the consignor, this Thema 8.32 has travelled just 1,200 km since 2017, when it received a new clutch and timing belt. Sold with its original German Fahrzeugbrief, original service booklet, and an extensive documentation file, this Thema has travelled less than 88,000 km throughout its life. Last serviced in February 2020, this exceptionally well-preserved 8.32 is certainly amongst the best of its breed.

This is a late 8.32 Ferrari Lancia Theme of the second series with only 121,573 kilometers. Only 1,167 copies were produced in total. As the name suggests, this is a Lancia with a Ferrari V8 engine. 8.32 stands for 8 cylinders and 32 valves. The engine comes from the 308 Ferrari QV series. The block was built by Ducati and adapted for better everyday use and a different character. For example, the Lancia has a cross-plane crankshaft and not a flat-plane. Other valves were also installed and the ignition sequence was adjusted. Very high-quality materials were used especially for the 8.32 version. This example is equipped with an optional handmade black interior of Poltrona Frau leather and beautiful wood finish. Lancia was also the first car with an integrated electrically operated rear spoiler. This car has never been restored and is very original. The body is beautiful and has sleek sheet metal.
