The Lamborghini Miura P400 was the first version of the legendary Miura, produced between 1966 and 1969. It featured a 3.9L transversely mounted V12 engine producing 350 hp, giving it a top speed of around 171 mph (275 km/h). Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, it introduced the groundbreaking mid-engine layout for high-performance road cars. With only 275 units produced, the P400 set the foundation for the Miura’s status as the world’s first true supercar.
