The Lamborghini Jarama 400 GT was a 2+2 grand tourer produced between 1970 and 1973. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, it featured a 3.9L V12 engine producing 350 hp, enabling a top speed of around 162 mph (260 km/h). It was a more compact and refined successor to the Islero, offering a mix of luxury and performance. Only 177 units were built, making it a rare and distinctive classic in Lamborghini’s history.

Originally Argento/Rosso on 19 July 1972 to Modena Sports Car in New York, USA. Purchased new in 1972 by a Doctor in New York state as a USA legal car. It was occasionally driven for 4-5 years and eventually developed some electrical issues at which time it was parked in the owner's garage for approximately 25 years. When the owner passed away, the estate sold the car to its next owner. In 1978 to 2nd owner (Basil RuDusky) who revived it and drove it for several years before selling it on in 2007. In May 2007 sold through a notable classic dealer in Connecticut in May 2007 to 3rd owner Brian Dooley in Savannah, Georgia, USA until Oct 2007 when he it advertised for sale with 27,725 miles on ebay. "Since then I have rebuild brake calipers, replaced all front end parts, repowder coated all four wheels (center pin drive type). New vintage correct Michelin XWX tires ($1,800.00). New alternator belt. Everything on this car works perfectly except the A/C. The paint appears to be original and in very good shape for its age. The interior shows almost as new. I would rate it a nine on a scale of one to ten. The car runs flawlessly, and sounds beautiful. Everything on the car is original as it left the factory. This is why the air conditioner was not fixed, as I would have changed it to all modern specs. and thought it would hinder the originality. As you will notice from the pictures this car has the factory center pin campagnolo rims which are only found on the early cars. The exhaust is Ansa and in perfect condition. This is a car that could be driven anywhere." Car was seen wearing Euro license plates 355795 FO. In Feb 2010 for sale at Land Rover Carolinas with with 28,375 miles. In Oct 2011 the car was seen for sale again with 30,000 miles and was purchased by a new owner in California. In June 2013, still with 30,000 miles, to new owner Paul Kok in Eemnes, Netherlands and registered AR-6019. April 2020 listed on Bring-A-Trailer and sold for $80,000 on 29 April 2020 March 2021 to May 2022 for sale with 31,064 miles at Cool Classic Club in the Netherlands.

Restored by Ultimate Motor Works, of Florida, in the early 1990s, and subsequently thoroughly freshened in 2006. Aug 2013 - 1972 Jarama GT #10322 sold for $112,750 at RM's Monterey Auction. Their catalogue described the car as follows... "The car offered here is even more special, in that it is one of a believed six examples fitted with dual removable roof panels, which give it a striking and futuristic appearance, like riding in the cockpit of a jet. For more private motoring on less sunny days, the panels can be repositioned by a simple fastener. The interior is upholstered in rich tan leather, a suave counterpoint to the rather flamboyant metallic blue finish, which shows off the Jarama’s fascinating, modern lines. A wooden steering wheel, shift knob, and dashboard insert add a touch of traditional, old world luxury. The current owner reports that this car was restored by Ultimate Motor Works, of Florida, in the early 1990s, and it was subsequently thoroughly freshened in 2006. Owned continuously as part of a major sports car collection for a quarter century, it is provided with its original sales brochure and parts manual, and it shows just over 15,000 miles. It is believed to be as authentic today as it was in 1972. This Jarama would be a superb example to drive, combining a fascinating, rarely-seen design with unusual features and a professional restoration." April 2015 - Next with 15,400 miles to Scott Utter, European Motor Studio, Phoenix, AZ, USA. 2016 - Now in California, USA. May 2016: #10.322 sold from Germany to Holland and to Germany again
10112404021971ArgentoNeroSpagnaProd. #57. Originally Verde Antille/Verde Scuro on 22 Apr 1971 to Spain. This particular car was supplied new by Lamborghini Espanol General Mola on the 22nd April 1971 to a Mr Osvaldo Nicholas Ferrara, an Argentine musician, composer and conductor. An interesting additional feature of this fabulous car is a period Dictaphone which, rumour has it, Mr. Ferrara ordered this in order for him to compose music whilst driving, although there is no paperwork to confirm this. The car remained in his ownership until his death in 1977. The vehicle was then sold to Aero Industries of Madrid, who we are informed then dispatched the car back to the Lamborghini factory for an engine overhaul and upgrade to 'S' specification along with cooling and brake modifications and a full bare metal re-spray. It was registered M-1991-C in Madrid, Spain. Silver with Green leather when purchased for €18,000 in Madrid by John Britton from the UK and registered DDJ992J in 2005. In 2012 seen at a show still wearing registration M-1991-C. There's a gentle clattering from the electric fuel pump and a starter whirr before the quad-cam, multi-Webered V12 thoroughbred erupts into life, settling quickly to a meaty burble at 800 rpm tick over. Above 4000 rpm there's an unrelenting surge of power delivered with a spine tingling bellow that defies belief. Currently owned by a Lamborghini enthusiast for the last 12 years this stunning GT car has been very highly maintained and has been mainly used for commutes to the South of France. We are informed the car drives without fault and has proved to be exceptionally reliable over the years. Offered with 55,585 km at Silverstone Auctions' Classic Sale on 27 July 2013 with unknown results. 2013/14 Recently, #10112 left British hands for Holland for close to 60.000 € Offered with 74,120 km on ebay auction in Neenah, WI, USA ending 15 Mar 2021 asking $150,000 US.
