The Lamborghini Urraco P300, introduced in 1975, was the final and most refined evolution of Lamborghini’s mid-engine 2+2 sports car line. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the P300 retained the sharp, wedge-shaped styling of earlier Urracos but featured major mechanical and quality improvements that addressed the shortcomings of the earlier P250.

At its heart was a 3.0-liter V8 engine producing around 250 horsepower, paired with a strengthened gearbox and upgraded suspension. These enhancements gave the P300 sharper performance, greater reliability, and more composed handling—transforming the Urraco into a truly capable grand tourer.

Produced from 1975 to 1979, only about 190 units of the P300 were built before the model was phased out. It effectively marked the end of the Urraco line but laid the foundation for its successors, the Silhouette and later the Jalpa, making it an important link in Lamborghini’s V8-powered evolution.
